Edwards Joins STRHS Team

(Winchester, TN) Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Winchester (STRHS Winchester) officials announce the addition of physician assistant Justin G. Edwards to the medical staff. Edwards is joining the group of orthopedic specialists at Southern Tennessee Orthopedic and Spine Center Winchester in March.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Justin’s experience joining us,” said STRHS Winchester CEO, Rob Followell. “He comes to us highly recommended by his peers and we look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have at Southern Tennessee Orthopedic and Spine as well as the community.”
Edwards obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Cumberlands School of Medicine in Williamsburg, Kentucky. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS).
Before relocating to Winchester, Edwards gained experience at Erlanger Hospital treating pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions and injuries. He then moved to Huntsville, Alabama joining The Orthopedic Center where his duties included hospital rounds, assisting in the clinic and surgery. He also performed clinical procedures such as intra-articular injections, nerve blocks, and casting and splinting.
