Neurologist Joins Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Medical Team

Winchester, TN…Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Winchester officials announce the addition of neurologist, Dr. Raymond (Bob) Capps to the medical staff. Dr. Capps will be working at the Southern Tennessee Specialty Clinic in Tullahoma and on the staff at the hospitals in Winchester and Sewanee.
“It is good to have Dr. Capps back on staff at our hospital and we are fortunate he chose to return to the area,” said hospital CEO, Russ Spray. “He has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality neurological care which is consistent with our mission and vision. Having neurological care is unique for many communities and we are lucky to have someone of his experience and expertise.”
Dr. Capps received his medical degree for the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO and completed his residency from the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, NC. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association, and the Tennessee Medical Association.
Dr. Capps provides a full range of neurological services including but not limited to epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, headaches, myasthenia gravis, tumors, strokes, Alzheimer’s disease, hemorrhage, and myofascial pain syndrome.
